Pullman High School was locked down for a few hours yesterday (Tue) and two teenagers were arrested after making alleged threats.

According to a press release from the Pullman Police Department, the two 14-year-olds were arrested and booked into the Martin Hall Juvenile Detention Center on suspicion of felony harassment and threats to bomb or injure property.

At about 8 a.m., school staff became aware of the alleged threats by a student to bring a gun to school and shoot a teacher.  The suspects were quickly identified and intercepted by Pullman Police before classes began.

According to a social media post, Pullman High School was placed in what the school termed “search and teach” status where students remained in the building and classes continued normally while officers investigated the possible threat.

The high school returned to normal operations once the unidentified teens were taken into custody later in the morning.
