The Lewiston Fire Department responded to a house fire Saturday afternoon on the northwest corner of 8th Avenue and 16th Street.
Crews cut into the roof of the structure to get to fire in the upstairs and attic areas.
Two people were able to escape without sustaining serious injuries and all pets were rescued.
The cause of the fire was undetermined and damage is estimated at $250,00.
