Quarterback John Holst threw for 182 yards and two touchdowns as Northern Illinois outlasted Fresno State in double overtime, 28-20 yesterday (Mon) in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl game in Boise.
Freshman wide receiver George Dimopoulos threw a 25-yard touchdown pass to Dane Pardridge on the first play of the second overtime and Jordan Hansen ended the game with a fourth-down sack.
Northern Illinois finishes the season with a record of 8-5, while Fresno State ends it’s season with a record of 6-7.
