Wazzu Men Suffer First Conference Loss in Overtime

Ethan Price scored a career-high 28 points and LeJuan Watts added 16, but it wasn’t enough as the Washington State University men’s basketball team fell to Pacific in overtime 95-94 last (Thur) night in Pullman.

Lamar Washington poured in a game-high 40 points for the Tigers, who handed the Cougars their first loss in West Coast Conference play, and their first loss at home this season.

Washington State drops to 13-4 overall and 3-1 in league.

Up next, the Cougars travel to Spokane tomorrow (Sat) night to face 18th ranked Gonzaga in another West Coast Conference game.
