PASCO, WA – A 63-year-old Pomeroy man was killed in a two-vehicle crash near Pasco, Washington at 8:41 a.m. today. According to the Washington State Patrol, Eric Wommack was driving a 2020 Ford Ranger westbound on US 12 near Sacajawea Park Road when a 2025 Kenworth semi and trailer attempted to cross the highway and struck him.
Officials say charges are pending against the semi’s driver, 50-year-old Alvin Ortiz of Richland. He was not injured in the collision.
The crash remains under investigation.
