The Lewiston Fire Department responded to a report of a house fire Saturday afternoon.
According to a news release, crews responded to a porch fire at around 3 p.m. Saturday at a residence located on lthe 1700 block of 10th Avenue.
The fire was extinguished in in less than 10 minutes and crews stayed on scene to make sure there was no further threat to structure.
One person suffered smoke inhalation and minor burns and was transported by family for medical treatment.
Damage was estimated at $15,000 and the cause of the blaze is under investigation.
