LEWISTON, ID – Lewiston Civic Theatre presents Steel Magnolias! The beloved play, by Robert Harling, that inspired the movie! The story follows six southern ladies of northwest Louisiana over the course of three years. In Truvy’s beauty salon, life is anything but boring. The show embraces both the highs and lows in life, and the strength of friendship through extreme tragedy and good fortune. Celebrating almost 40 years since the release of the play, come enjoy the southern belle charm of Chinquapin Parish!
The show opens April 10th and runs through April 27th. Thursday-Saturday showings are at 7pm and Sunday showings are at 2pm. There will be no show on Easter Sunday (April 20th), but in place we will have a double show on April 19th. Those shows will be at 2pm and at 7pm. Tickets are available now at lctheatre.org, or call the box office at 208-746-3401. Tickets will also be available at the door of each performance at the Normal Hill Campus,1114 9th Ave, Lewiston.
