The Moscow Police Department successfully conducted a felony warrant arrest for 43-year-old Aaron Hypes who was wanted out of Butler County, Kentucky, for manslaughter, trafficking fentanyl, and being a persistent felony offender.
According to a news release, the Moscow Police Department was contacted yesterday (Thur) by Kentucky law enforcement, who stated they believed Hypes was in the Moscow or Latah County area. The Latah County Regional SWAT Team, made up of members from the Moscow Police Department and the Latah County Sheriff’s Office were deployed due to the elevated risk.
Officers contacted Hypes on the 1100 Block of North Polk Street where he was arrested without incident and transported to Latah County Jail.
