Governor Brad Little was busy yesterday. Among other things, he signed House Bill 425 into law that allocates $8-million for a Military Science and Veterans’ Assistance Center at the University of Idaho. In the bill, the Idaho State Police also get more than $5.5 million for land and a new building in or near Lewiston.

Meanwhile, House Bill 45 got his approval. It dictates what flags can hang on government buildings in Idaho. The only flags allowed are the U.S. flag, the official flag of a government entity, flags of other U.S. states, military branches, POW/MIA, and the official flags of Indian tribes.

That law goes into effect July 1st.
