If your business is being affected by the Highway 95 closure, you could be eligible for disaster assistance loans in the near future.
The Idaho Office of Emergency Management is gathering information right now from non-farm small businesses and non-profit organizations whose operations were disrupted by the closure. Highway traffic has been disrupted since March 16th when heavy rains caused several hundred feet of roadway shoulder to give way. The Idaho Transportation Department expects to have the highway open again early next month.
The low-interest loans would come from the U.S. Small Business Administration.
