
The deadline is now less than one month away to get your enhanced driver’s license. The Idaho Star Card will be required to board a flight unless you’re using a U.S. Passport, military ID, or some other federally-accepted ID. A non-star Idaho Driver’s License won’t be good enough on May 7th.
You also have to have the Star to access a federal building.
To get the updated card, you’ll need to provide documents like a birth certificate, social security card, and two proofs of Idaho residency like a utility bill.
As of April 1st, the Idaho Transportation Department says 55% of Idaho IDs have been updated.
