Public health experts tell you not to flush your unused medications now. The best choice is to drop them off to be destroyed by professionals. Your chance to do so is coming up this Friday in Pomeroy.
Garfield County Public Health is sponsoring an event on the Courthouse lawn along Highway 12. They’ll accept medications, they’ll have a sharps container for needles, and more. While you’re there, you can peruse informational booths from the hospital, aging and long-term care, and the Sheriff’s department.
It runs from 11am – 2pm on the courthouse lawn.
