
Idaho State Police are investigating a single vehicle crash that occurred late last (Tue) night on the Grangemont Road in Clearwater County.
According to an ISP news release, at about 10:30 pm an unidentified 54-year-old man from Lewiston was traveling westbound in a Ford F250 when the vehicle went off the road and down a steep embankment where the truck came to rest against a tree. The man, who was the only occupant in the vehicle, sustained critical injuries and was transported by air ambulance to a local hospital.
The man’s condition has not been released.
The roadway was blocked for about 4 hours as emergency responders worked to extricate the man.
The crash remains under investigation.
