
The Idaho State Board of Education has named Scott Green as the 19th president of the University of Idaho.
The Board approved a three-year contract for Green during a special Board meeting held on the U of I campus in Moscow.
Green is a University of Idaho graduate, a Moscow native and a fourth-generation Idahoan. He currently serves as the Global Chief Operating and Financial Officer of Hogan Lovells, a highly ranked international law firm with over 45 offices globally and over $2 billion in total revenue.
Green graduated from the U of I in 1984 with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
He also holds an MBA from Harvard University, which he earned in 1989.
Green will assume his duties on July 1st. His annual salary will be $420,000. (Idaho State Board of Education)
