Regional health officials reported a combined 273 new coronavirus cases and five virus-related deaths between Saturday and Monday.
In north central Idaho: Three deaths were in Nez Perce County which had 83 new infections over the three-day period; Latah County added 37 cases; Idaho County’s numbers climbed by 21, and one death; Clearwater County had 18 new infections, and one death; and Lewis County reported 14 new coronavirus cases.
In southeastern Washington: Asotin County saw it’s number of infections rise by 62; Whitman County added 37 new cases; and Garfield County reported 3 new COVID-19 infections over the three-day period. (Lewiston Tribune)
