A Clarkston man was arrested Saturday for multiple car burglaries in the Lewiston Elks Addition.
23-year-old Troy Russell was taken into custody after authorities obtained a search warrant for a residence on the 1500 block of Poplar Street in Clarkston.
According to a news release, Lewiston Police identified Russell as the suspect of more than six burglary reports after viewing surveillance footage from one of the burglarized homes. Russell was also seen using a stolen credit card by video surveillance at the Clarkston Walmart store.
Authorities say he is also a suspect in multiple other burglaries in Lewiston and will likely be facing several more felony charges once he’s extradited back to Nez Perce County.
