Lewis-Clark State College continues to receive accolades for the quality of education and value it provides to students. The latest comes from College Consensus, which ranked LC State No. 2 in the category of best colleges and universities – both public and private – and also No. 2 in best online colleges in the state.
According to the College Consensus website, the company gathers information from the most respected college ranking systems and the average ratings of thousands of student reviews from around the web to come up with its unique college ranking system. The website touts the College Consensus approach “offers a comprehensive and holistic perspective missing from other college rankings.”
College Consensus said LC State was unique from the standpoint it offers both career and technical training along with four-year academic degrees.
LC State, which is the most affordable among Idaho’s public four-year institutions, was joined in the top five of both categories by the University of Idaho, which was ranked first in both.
