LEWISTON, ID – The Idaho Department of Fish and Game and other local agencies rescued an osprey stuck in nesting debris along Snake River Avenue near the Southway Bridge this afternoon. During the rescue, its mate stayed close by.
Officials will evaluate its health and according to IDFG, if it is uninjured the raptor will be returned to its nest. If it did suffer injuries, it will be sent to the Raptor program at WSU.
