The three-way race for a Clarkston School Board seat remains close.

Rick Hanks has received the highest number of votes with 1,060, while Dan Randles has 882 votes, and incumbent Rachel Rinard received 833. The top two will advance to November’s General Election.

The race for the No. 1 position was the only contest on the primary ballot. Todd Snarr is running for the No. 5 position against Chris Bunce in another vote to be decided in November.

The Asotin County auditor will provide updates to the primary results this week.
