From Big Canyon Acres:
The Big Canyon Acres Fall Fest will feature artisans, a pumpkin patch, free kid’s games and stories, fresh pressed cider from apples grown on site, hay rides to a hay maze, music, food and produce, fall photo sessions, cowboy poetry and the sights and smells of fall.
“We can’t wait to see everyone again for year number three of the Big Canyon Acres Fall Fest harvest festival. We love putting together something that has become a fall tradition for families in the area,” said owner, Susan Jacobson. Jacobson and her husband, Ron purchased the orchard in 2018 and began this event in 2021.
Big Canyon Acres is a 48-acre, wedding and event venue set in a historic homestead orchard one-half mile off of Highway 12 between Lewiston and Orofino.
The wedding and event venue offers multiple indoor and outdoor sites for ceremonies and receptions from forest or creek-side, to a rustic barn and the indoor climate-controlled timber frame barn that is available year- round. The orchard produces thirteen varieties of apples, four varieties of pears, three varieties of cherries, three varieties of plums, blackberries, raspberries, grapes, two varieties of walnuts and hazelnuts.
