Callie Stevens led four Warriors in double figures scoring with 18 points as the Lewis-Clark State women’s basketball team topped Walla Walla University 82-62 Thursday night in College Place, Washington.
The 8th ranked Warriors exploded for 47 second half points to blow open a tight, one point game at halftime.
The LC women improve to 7-1 overall, and remained perfect at 3-0 in Cascade Conference play.
Meanwhile, the Lewis-Clark State men handed the Wolves their first loss in league play with a 94-68 win.
Alton Hamilton scored a career-high 18 points and Quentin Raynor and Jaedon Bradley both added 16 in the win.
The Warriors improved to 5-4 overall, and 3-0 inside the Cascade Conference.
Both LC teams return home for a pair of conference games next week against Corban University and Bushnell University inside the P1FCU Activity Center.
