OLYMPIA, WA – Washington State Governor Jay Inslee today delivered his 11th State of the State address before state legislators, other elected officials, and dignitaries. He outlined his priorities for the 2024 legislative session and highlighted the state’s improved economy, housing, and issues surrounding the Supreme Court’s decision on Roe v. Wade.
Inslee also highlighted climate change proposals.
Another topic Inslee discussed was healthcare, particularly the laws the legislature has passed in recent years to protect Washingtonians.
Inslee also talked about the need for more police officers and forensic scientists in the state, an organized retail theft task force, and increased funding for drug trafficking.
