Idaho State Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred around 5:23 PM on Saturday along U.S.Highway 12 near Powell.
According to a news release from ISP, a 68-year-old unidentified man from Stevensville, Montana, was traveling east bound on a black 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle on US 12 near milepost 163 when he left the roadway and went down an embankment and collided with trees.
The man, who was wearing a helmet, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
