LEWISTON, ID – After a long absence, Lewiston letter carriers are once again holding their “Stamp Out Hunger” food drive beginning Monday and continuing throughout the week. They will leave bags and information near mailboxes in Lewiston, then pick up all of the food donations and deliver them to the Community Action Food Bank in downtown Lewiston on Saturday, May 11th.
“Community Action really needs food donations right now, so please help us out by leaving your donations of non-perishable food outside on Saturday May 11th and help those in our community that might be struggling with food insecurity,” officials say.
