There is a heavy police presence near a home in the 1000 block of Richardson Avenue this afternoon. Numerous law enforcement officers and rescue personnel, including the SWAT team and Lewiston Fire Department, are on the scene. Some officers are seen with weapons drawn. Streets are being blocked for public safety. Please avoid the area.
