Taylor Ward had two hits and a run-batted-in and the Los Angeles Angels took advantage of two 9th inning errors in beating the Seattle Mariners 3-1 last (Mon) night in the opening game of a three-game series at T-Mobile Park.
Cal Raleigh had an RBI single in the loss for Seattle.
On the mound, Bryce Miller was outstanding in a no-decision start for the M’s. The righthander didn’t allow any runs on just 3 hits with 5 strikeouts over 7 strong innings.
