A two-run 8th inning was the difference as the Los Angeles Angels rallied for a 2-1 win, and a series sweep over the Seattle Mariners yesterday (Wed) at T-Mobile Park.
Mitch Haniger homered for the Mariners who were limited to 6 hits total.
On the mound, Luis Castillo pitched well but didn’t factor into a decision for Seattle. The righthander allowed no runs on 5 hits with 7 strikeouts over 6 innings.
The Mariners have today (Thur) off before beginning a three-game weekend series tomorrow (Fri) night on the road in Chicago against the White Sox.
