CORVALLIS, Ore. – Carter Gordon earned his first Cascade Conference Runner of the Week honor of the season on Monday after leading No. 13 LC State over the weekend.
Gordon ran the 10th-fastest 8k in school history and shaved 30 seconds off his previous personal-best on Friday in Colfax, Wash. The senior from Coeur d’Alene placed 20th as the top non-NCAA Division I runner at the Cougar Classic with a time of 24:26.96.
This is the fourth weekly honor of Gordon’s career and second in cross country.
