LC State Earns 22 Fall Academic All-Cascade Conference Honors

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Lewis-Clark State College Athletics had 22 fall student-athletes earn Academic All-Cascade Conference honors, announced by the conference office on Friday. Warrior Volleyball had nine players earn the accolade, men’s cross country brought home eight and women’s cross country earned five.

 

To earn recognition as an All-CCC Academic honoree, a student-athlete must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.2, at least a sophomore standing and have been identified with the institution for two full semesters.

 

Seniors Hallie Seaman, Natany Felix Guimaraes, Anna Merrill, Abbey Neff and Katie Rainville led Warrior Volleyball. Juniors Juliauna Forgach Aguilar and Esther Kailiponi met the requirements along with sophomores Gianna Anderson and Makenzie Stout.

 

LC State Men’s Cross Country was represented by seniors Carter Gordon, Conner May and Luke Sellmann, and juniors Jacob Adams, Connor Alexander, Alexander Fry, Tristin O’Brien and Clay Shumaker.

 

Seniors Grace McCormick, Abigail Shumaker and Sydnie Zywina represented Warrior Women’s Cross Country, along with juniors Emily Collins and Grace Tiegs.
