A Pullman teen was killed following a collision involving multiple vehicles Saturday morning on U.S. Highway 195 north of Rosalia.
According to a Washington State Patrol news release, 13-year-old Zion Bischoff died at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane.
Investigators say a semitruck lost control due to icy conditions and jackknifed across the northbound lanes causing four other cars to collide, including a car that was parked along the shoulder of the highway.
Two other people were also injured in the incident.
A detour was utilized before the main highway was reopened Saturday night.
