LC Baseball Team Opens League Play in Caldwell with In State Rival Coyotes

The Lewis-Clark State baseball team opens Cascade Conference action with a four-game series this weekend in Caldwell against in-state rival College of Idaho.

The series was originally scheduled for this weekend in Lewiston, but due to poor weather and field conditions, the series was moved to Caldwell.

The 7th ranked Warriors are 2-4 on the year following their season-opening trip to Florida. The Yotes are 10-2 overall and have won six games in-a-row.

The teams will play a doubleheader Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. Pacific Time with single games set for 1 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. Monday.
