
Two people were injured after a camp trailer explosion and fire Saturday morning in east Lewiston.
According to the Lewiston Fire Department, crews were dispatched to the scene at 2710 Main St. at about 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
When firefighters arrived, they made contact with two people who reported they were the only ones inside the trailer at the time of the blast. Both suffered significant burn injuries and were transported to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The trailer was a total loss and the estimated damage and contents lost totaled $3,000.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
