Lewis-Clark State forward Alton Hamilton has been named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Men’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week.
Hamilton was a key factor in both LC State victories over the weekend and averaged a double-double for the second straight week. The sophomore led the Warrior defense with 11.5 rebounds per game to go with 22 points per game along with seven assists and two steals. He grabbed nine rebounds against Corban and 14 against Bushnell with his defense leading directly to 24 points.
It’s Hamilton’s fourth weekly honor this season and fifth conference weekly award in his career.
The Warrior men host Corban tonight (Tue) at 7 p.m. in the quarterfinal round of the Cascade Conference postseason tournament.
