Hwy 95 To Re-Open Monday After Repairs

Highway 95 Landslide

Monday you’ll be able to use Highway 95 again to go south through Idaho. The Idaho Transportation Department is reopening the main north-south corridor after heavy rainfall prompted the partial closure between New Meadows and Council. It happened March 16th.

An ITD press release says construction crews have been working two shifts per day to reopen the highway as quickly as possible.

The work isn’t completely done though. They’re still working on the roadside and the guardrails. They may need to close a lane temporarily while they work.
