The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Lewis-Clark Valley team up with Idaho Forest Group for their annual Christmas tree pickup. Youth volunteers hit the streets of Lewiston on Saturday the 5th beginning at 9 AM, looking for trees placed outside resident’s homes. The service is free of charge, but any donations are appreciated. Clarkston residents can drop off their trees and donations at the Clarkston Boys & Girls Club at 1414 Highland Avenue between 10 am and 6 pm, January 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, and 9-to-Noon on Saturday the 5th. There is also a drop-off site in Asotin behind the courthouse annex on Saturday the 5th between 9 am and Noon. All donations go exclusively toward scholarships for low-income children into various club programs. For more information call the Clubs at 208-746-2301.
